Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, born on 7 December 7 1963, in Edo State, Nigeria, was raised in a family of faith, surrounded by loving and loving parents.  Pastor Chris Oyakhilome He is the eldest child of elder T.E Oyakhilome and Angelina Oyakhilome. She was a pioneer of the Assemblies Of God Church in Benin City and a matriarch of the Oyakhilome families, who passed her divine grace onto her son from an early age.

Pastor Chris is blessed with two daughters, Charlene and Carissa Sharon. Carissa Sharon follows in in her father's example of sharing God's Word with the world. Also known by CSO as a singer, she is an accomplished, award-winning gospel musician and is a member of LoveWorld Music and Arts.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome began his studies at Edo College. Then he was granted a scholarship to pursue studies at Bendel State University, now Ambrose Ali University. There he graduated with an BSc. in Architecture as well as an honorary Doctor of Science. He is also a doctoral honorary from Benson Idahosa University in divinity. While attending Ambrose Ali University, he was prompted by God to go into the ministry and to be a servant to the Lord.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was a zealous philanthropist who founded the Chris Oyakhilome Foundation (COFI) which is a non-profit, non-governmental organisation with the aim of helping the most disadvantaged communities and individuals in the poorest regions and countries around the world.

In addition to preaching the Gospel, The Man of God has also created a variety of non-profit organizations with the aim of providing vital services and hope for those who are poor, in need or neglected. COFI is a partnership with five other organizations who are all dedicated to raising living standards in some of the areas that are the least developed.
